While we do have some members-only events, any event listed on our website is open to the public.

No. As long as the dog has an AKC number, they do not have to be purebred. Limited Registration and PAL numbers are accepted at all events our club hosts.

Our club absolutely supports Junior handlers. However, we do abide by the AKC regulations in accordance to this. That means all children must be at least 9 years of age or older, be registered through AKC as a junior handler, and have a parent or guardian present in attendance.

Day of registration is usually unavailable but typically is dependent on the event. The best thing to do is check the event listing for further details.

Although we encourage our members to be involved in all of our dog sports, it is not mandatory to attend all of the events. We understand that not everyone is able to attend every single event that our club hosts, but we are always grateful when people come to help out!

While we are sad you will no longer be a member with us, unfortunately we are not able to return the current year's dues.

Individual membership means that only one person in the household is a member of CDAC. A household membership means that anyone who resides at the provided address is a member of CDAC.

Yes, you must be a member of CDAC to attend one of our club meetings.

Most events require prior registration and training to make sure that all teams participating understand what they are doing, as well as to ensure the safety of themselves and other competitors. The best thing to do is to check the premium, email the trial chairman or event coordinator, or check the event listing for further details.

Most of our events are audience friendly. However, we do ask that you do not bring any non-competing dogs to the event. While our events are dog friendly, dogs on the sidelines can be quite distracting to our competitors.

You must have at least two club members that can endorse you
You must be 18 years of age or older (or 9 years of age with a parent or guardian's permission)
You must submit a membership application (with the fee) online or through mail.
You should receive an email letting you know if your membership has been approved after the club has reviewed the application at our next quarterly meeting.

We would accept a letter as proof of membership in good standing signed by an officer of the previous AKC club in lieu of two current member endorsements.

Yes. As long as you can meet our membership requirements, and our club reviews your membership and approve it.
